If you forego the traditional church ceremony, than what do you do to define the altar? Often, couples don’t take enough time thinking about what they want at the end of the aisle ( besides their groom 😉 , unfortunately it is a detail that gets overlooked. Which is bananas to me, but true! Shouldn’t it be one of the most important elements?! This is where you are professing your love for each other and taking vows, it is the touchdown zone of your wedding! The altar should be EXACTLY what you want, this IS where the BIG moment happens, so why not go ALL out?! Here are three examples of a perfect “touchdown” zone using our cedar arch:
1) Drapes & Florals
Draping linens can add a dramatic statement alone, adding flowers can soften it and give it more of a romantic feel
2)Greenery
Lush greenery on a wooden arch is timeless and elegant, your white dress will POP against the green backdrop
3)Macrame
Drape the arch with a unique backdrop such as this macrame and add some vintage chairs to help complete the vision( the arch featured in this photo is not ours ( you can easily do this look with ours though) however the chairs are ours: Thomas Patrick & Shirley)
We hope you found this quick little idea guide about dressing up the altar helpful, and we are happy to help you make it happen for your BIG day!
